KENNESAW, Ga. – Leading into the season that begins on August 27 against Troy, KSUOwls.com will introduce Kennesaw State volleyball's three freshmen to Owl nation.

The Owls class of
Quin Sutphin, Karlee Groover and Lauren Chastang became the first KSU signing class to receive an honorable mention by Prepvolleyball.com.

The final spotlight is on Chastang, a 5'11" outside hitter from BayMinette, Alabama.Â
Chastang won her sixth straight 3A state championship at Bayside Academy and helped her head coach, Ann Schilling, win her 15
th straight state title during her senior season. Playing on varsity since she was in seventh grade, the outside hitter was named MVP of the state championship her sophomore and junior seasons and was named to the All-Tournament team her senior season. She was also named MVP after playing with the South All-Stars for Alabama. The Gatorade State Player of the Year from Alabama had nearly 2,000 kills in her high school career.

Kennesaw State has 11 home matches this season and all are free admission beginning on Sunday, August 27 against Troy at 2 p.m.
