Tips for Enjoying Gameday
* If you serve alcoholic beverages, ensure that you have enough designated driver to accommodate your guests.
* If you drink, drink responsibly and pace your drinking. Watch out for friends.
* Be mindful of young children in all areas surrounding the stadium.
* Pick up after yourself and your party.
* Remember that Kennesaw State University is a tobacco and smoke free campus.
* Help us keep a fun, safe, and secure environment. If you see something, say something.
Tailgating General Rules
* Priority parking lots are reserved for members of The Owls Fund or Student Tailgating Passes.
* All state and local laws must be observed.
* Parking lots will open 5 hours before the start of game, unless otherwise noted.
* Parking lots will close 2 hours after end of game.
* No overnight occupancy is allowed in tailgating areas.
* Tailgating is NOT ALLOWED after the game has begun.
* Tailgating is for one parking space only. Green space adjacent to a parking spot is reserved for that parking spot.
* No couches or upholstered furniture is allowed.
* Persons acting in a disruptive, disrespectful or disorderly manner may be asked to leave the premises and/or be subject to citation from University, city or county law enforcement. Students will be subject to the KSU Student Code of Conduct.
* No one under the age of 21 may consume alcoholic beverages, and no one shall furnish, or cause to be furnished, any alcoholic beverages to individuals under the age of 21.
* Tailgate hosts must ensure that no obviously intoxicated person is given or allowed to consume any additional alcoholic beverage from the tailgate.
* Kennesaw State University is not responsible or liable for accidents, damage, loss or theft of materials/items/personal property.
* Tailgate hosts & guests must place all trash in the appropriate trash receptacles. Hosts and guests are encouraged to recycle their trash as well.
* Tents or canopies may not exceed 10' x 10'. Tents must be secured, no stakes, and may not obstruct sidewalks, drive lanes or pedestrian walkways. Tents must be an extension of your vehicles, directly in front or behind vehicle.
* All generators must be equipped with a noise reducing device. Items associated with generators such as fuel and extension cords should be managed with special care.
* All BBQ grills, propane or otherwise, should be attended to at all times. Fires built on the ground and open fire pits are prohibited.
* Pets should be leashed at all times and are not allowed to run at large in tailgating parking lots. Pets are not allowed in Fifth Third Bank Stadium. There is an exception for service animals.
* Glass containers, kegs, and any common source containers are prohibited.
* The sale of food and/or beverages or other commercial activities (including sales solicitation or advertising) are not permitted without the express written consent of Kennesaw State University.
* No smoking is allowed.
* Do not move or remove any traffic control devices, barricades or barrels.
* All tailgating rules apply to parking lots designated on the football parking maps.
* Display your parking pass at all times.
* All state and local laws must be observed.
* No overnight occupancy is allowed in tailgating areas.
