COMMUNICATIONS INFORMATION

The members of the Kennesaw State University Athletics Communications staff are ready to assist members of the news media in their coverage of the Owls. Please feel free to contact any member of our department regarding their assigned sports, either for specific information or for suggestions for coverage.

Archived Materials:
Links to statistics, media guides and other materials from past seasons are available on each sport's home page under the "Archives" link.

Internet Access:
The press areas at Stillwell Stadium (baseball) and Fifth Third Stadium (football, women's lacrosse and women's soccer), Bailey Park (softball) as well as press row at the KSU Convocation Center (men's and women's basketball, volleyball) have reliable functioning wireless internet access.

Interviews:
Coaches and student-athletes are instructed not to conduct interviews unless they are arranged through the Kennesaw State athletics communications office. We ask the cooperation of the media in not attempting to conduct an interview at times other than those arranged through the Kennesaw State athletics communications office (including contacting student-athletes via social media). Violators of this policy are subject to the loss of media privileges, including revocations of credentials.

Media Information/Fact Books:
The Kennesaw State University athletics communications department produces media fact books for each of its teams, available in PDF format online.

Media Credentials:
Credentials for Kennesaw State home sporting events are issued at the sole discretion of Kennesaw State athletics through its athletics communications office. Professional media outlets and professional scouts may request credentials by contacting the respective athletics communications contact via email and telephone.

Credential requests are honored from professional media outlets and websites that regularly cover Kennesaw State and have a corresponding publication and/or affiliation with a nationally recognized media entity. Websites that do not employ professional journalists will not be issued credentials.

Kennesaw State reserves the right to refuse any credential request deemed not to be in the best interest of the university.

Weekly Updates Releases:
Weekly updates with detailed information on our teams will be produced during the season. All updates are available in PDF form as well as at the sport venues on days of competition. They also may e-mailed to media members upon request. To be added to a media email list, please contact the athletic communications contact for each sport.

Practices:
Please contact the athletics communications contact for each sport to find out policies for media attending practices for each specific team.

Press areas vary by facility. Please contact the athletics communications contact for each sport to obtain information regarding the press area for each facility.
